Leeds goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson rushed to hospital after car crash in Norway

LEEDS UNITED star Kristoffer Klaesson was taken to hospital after a car crash in his home country of Norway.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper’s BMW M5 Cs collided with a roadblock barrier just after midnight on Wednesday in Berger, Lillestrom.

Leeds have confirmed to the Yorkshire Evening Post that Klaesson was driving the motor involved in the road accident.

Lillestrøm news outlet Romerikes Blad says that Terge Marstad, a police operations manager, informed them that the Norway U21 international was able to stand and appeared to be uninjured.

However, he was taken by ambulance to Akershus University Hospital as a precaution and was questioned by police at the medical facility.
