JOYCE TO SHINE?
One of British boxing’s most exciting talents is less-than two hours way from what many predict could be his toughest test yet.
Joe Joyce will fight wily veteran Carlos Takam at London’s SSE Arena.
It is Joyce’s first fight since he sensationally made fellow Brit Daniel Dubois retire on one knee after suffering a sickening eye injury.
Joyce is now one win away from becoming the mandatory challenger for the WBO world heavyweight title – currently held by Anthony Joshua.
Takam has himself fought Joshua before – coming in as a late stand-in and lasting ten rounds before being stopped on his feet.
Joyce has predicted a KO win EARLIER than what AJ managed – that would make a lot of people stand up and take notice.
