Broncos begin mandatory minicamp today
The Denver Broncos are back on the practice field this week for their final team sessions until training camp.
Following two weeks of organized team activities (OTAs) earlier this month, the Broncos are now set to hold a mandatory minicamp this week (June 16-18). The OTAs were technically voluntary, but coach Sean Payton said the team had 100% attendance (although not every player was present every day). The upcoming minicamp is mandatory, so players are subject to fines if they do not attend this week.
The big storyline to watch going into mandatory minicamp will be the participation of quarterback Bo Nix. Media members attended one day of practice in each of the first two weeks of OTAs, and the club will host media for all three days of minicamp this week.

Following minicamp this week, Denver’s players will have a summer break until training camp, which typically begins in late July. The Broncos are expected to announce their training camp schedule later this month.
