It’s been a while since our last IndieDB post (v1.2.0), but a lot has changed! Version 1.2.6 brings a wave of balance, AI, and polish improvements:
- Reduced enemy spawn counts at key trigger points in the first 3 levels — no more getting swarmed out of nowhere
- Enemies previously perched on balconies and rocks have been moved to ground level, so you can engage them in either aiming mode
- Tuned bandit spawn rates during boss fights — Wild Bill was previously punishing compared to Los Diablos Negros, so that’s been evened out
- Reworked navigation data to stop enemies from retreating to hard-to-see or hard-to-shoot positions
- Fixed UI bugs in the settings menu and optimized related logic
- Improved ragdoll physics with better joint constraints — no more bizarre limb bending
- Added new animations for revolver-wielding enemies

Because of these improvements, I thought it’d be worthwhile to update the demo with all the latest improvements and reactivate it on Steam (and make it available on IndieDB). Go ahead and give it a shot!
Your Feedback Matters! I’m still actively looking for feedback on how to make the game better. Reach out to me and I’ll send you a free Steam key in exchange for your thoughts. I have several keys remaining so first come, first serve until they are gone! And if you spot any bugs, let me know — I want to squash them fast.

Thanks for the continued support!
