USC a Possible Landing Spot for Women’s Basketball Superstar
Iowa State star Audi Crooks announced Thursday morning that she’s entering the transfer portal for her final year of college basketball, and some believe she could land at USC.
Crooks was second in the country in scoring this year, averaging 25.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, as reported by Alexa Philippou of ESPN.

“A dominant post presence — and NIL face — whose portal destination has now becoming the most intriguing question of the offseason,” Philippou added on social media.
So where will the two-time All-American play next? Some believe Crooks could be headed to Southern California.
Could Audi Crooks Join the USC Trojans?
Eric Smithling of Yardbarker listed USC as one of five potential landing spots for Crooks, especially given the talent already in place.
In addition to star guard and National Freshman of the Year Jazzy Davidson, the injured superstar Juju Watkins is expected to rejoin the Trojans for the 2026-27 season.
“The Trojans could easily earn an NCAA Tournament No. 1 seed for the third time in four seasons in 2027, especially if Crooks comes along for the ride,” Smithling wrote.

Given that archrival UCLA is in their second straight Final Four, USC might need to make a big move to even the odds in the battle for Los Angeles.
Crooks could do that and “help unlock the program’s next deep tourney run,” Smithling added.
