Cameroon struck early in the 7th minute through Kiki Meva. But the Cameroonian lead was short-lived, as Nigeria responded with authority in the 32nd minute: Chiwendu Ihezuo leveled the score at 1-1 with a brilliant header, expertly set up by Rinsola Babajide. Just before half-time, Babajide shone again, finding the net in the 43rd minute to restore the Super Falcons’ advantage (2-1) at the break.

As the second half kicked off, Nigeria maintained absolute control. In the 64th minute, Michelle Alozie put the final nail in the Lionesses’ hopes, making it 3-1.

This double-header friendly delivered on all its promises, serving as a perfect tune-up for both squads ahead of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, set to kick off on March 17 in Morocco.
