On Friday of the NFL combine, the safeties were one of the position groups to go through the on-field testing portion of the event. This is a position the Indianapolis Colts will likely have to address at somepoint this offseason.

If free agent Nick Cross ends up signing elsewhere in the coming weeks, that starting strong safety role next to Cam Bynum will be available. One of the on the roster candidates who could earn those snaps is Hunter Wohler, but adding competition would be the prudent move.
