Eagles met with Texas Longhorns TE Jack Endries at the 2026 NFL combine
The Philadelphia Eagles continue to cast a wide net at tight end during the 2026 NFL Combine, signaling that the position is very much on their offseason radar. While outside cornerback, edge rusher, and defensive reinforcements dominate most conversations, Howie Roseman and company are quietly doing extensive homework on offensive skill talent as well.
Add another name to that growing list. The Eagles reportedly met with Jack Endries of the Texas Longhorns.
Texas TE Jack Endries had a formal meeting with the Philadelphia Eagles here at the combine.

This further emphasizes their interest in this year’s tight end class. They also, per Oscar Delp, scheduled a meeting to speak with the former Georgia Bulldogs star, too.

Endries brings a well-rounded profile. He has dependable hands while being a polished route runner. He has the versatility to align both in-line and flex outside to make plays in space.
During his tenure at Texas, despite not always being a focal point of the offensive attack, he was a reliable chain-mover, one capable of working the middle of the field and finding soft spots in zone coverage to settle into.
As far as Philadelphia is concerned, what stands out is the consistency of its approach across interviewees. No one expected them to lock in on one marquee name, and they haven’t. They’re building a comprehensive draft board. board, meeting with multiple prospects, and gathering information.
That’s how sustainable roster construction works. Layer future options behind current starters before urgency forces a move. It’s far too early to connect firm draft dots, but with each reported NFL Combine interview, Philadelphia is revealing its priorities.
