Taylor Swift’s Album Sales Explode, With Some Titles Doubling Week-Over-Week
Taylor Swift fills twice as many spots on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart as any other artist as purchases skyrocket and both Evermore and Lover returning to the list. For yet another week, Taylor Swift is the queen of Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. The list looks at the bestselling albums and EPs in the United States, and the ranking takes into account all purchases, digital and physical.
While Swift does not appear at No. 1 on the competitive tally, she does fill more spaces than any other artist by a wide margin. In fact, several of Swift’s most popular efforts return to the Top Album Sales chart, and every one of her current bestsellers sees its sales count grow dramatically from last week. Some even manage to have purchases double in only a matter of days.
Taylor Swift’s Half-Dozen Bestselling Albums
Swift fills half a dozen spaces on the Top Album Sales chart, which includes 50 spots. Here is a rundown of where all of the singer-songwriter’s titles land on the ranking this frame:
No. 2 — The Life of a Showgirl
No. 20 — Folklore
No. 24 — 1989 (Taylor’s Version)
No. 29 — Midnights
No. 36 — Evermore
No. 45 — Lover
Several Taylor Swift Albums Become Bestsellers Again

Of Swift’s six placements on the Top Album Sales chart, two return to the roster this frame. Both Evermore and Lover were nowhere to be found last period, but now they are back and counted among the 50 bestselling releases in the nation.

The Life of a Showgirl’s Sales More Than Double
Purchases of all six of Swift’s winners improve significantly from last week as holiday shopping ramps up for another year. The biggest winner is The Life of a Showgirl, which sees sales improve by 120% frame over frame. Luminate reports that in the most recent tracking period, the superstar’s latest blockbuster – which made history when it became the first album to debut with four million equivalent units – sold 45,700 copies. That is up from 20,700 copies only a few days prior.
Taylor Swift’s Midnights Sees Sales Grow By 100% in One Week
One other title by Swift also doubles its weekly sales. Midnights sold a little under 6,400 copies in the tracking period reflected on the current Billboard rosters. The frame prior, it managed just under 3,200.
Lover, Evermore, Folklore and 1989 (Taylor’s Version)
The four other albums that rank among the bestselling in America by Swift come very close to a 100% sales gain, as each of them manages a 90% or greater improvement.
The least impressive of the bunch, Lover, grows by 90% from one tracking period to the next. Evermore is up 91%, Folklore climbs 97%, and 1989 (Taylor’s Version) sees its weekly purchases nearly double, as they rise by 98%.
How Many No. 1 Bestselling Albums Has Taylor Swift Charted?
All six of Swift’s titles that appear on the current edition of the Top Album Sales chart have reached No. 1. Throughout her career, the Emmy and Grammy winner has sent 21 releases to the tally. 19 of them have cracked the top 10, and she is now up to an amazing 16 leaders – one of the most impressive accumulations among all musical acts.

Swift misses out on ruling the Top Album Sales chart this week, as Do It, the latest EP by South Korean boy band Stray Kids, holds atop the roster after debuting at No. 1 last period. The singer does manage to claim twice as many spots as any other artist, as she dominates in her own way.
Stray Kids, Billie Eilish, and Tyler, the Creator score a trio of bestsellers apiece — only half of what Swift manages. Several other stars, like Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Fleetwood Mac, and The Beatles, score two wins at the moment.
