Xavier Atkins headlines Auburn's representation on All-SEC teams

Auburn linebacker Xavier Atkins had a magical season and is being recognized with a high honor on the All-SEC team.

Atkins earns All-SEC first-team honors after breaking onto the scene in 2025 as a sophomore after spending the 2024 season at LSU. Atkins led the SEC in tackles for loss with 17, and finished fourth in the SEC in tackles with 84, behind several notable players, including Georgia linebacker CJ Allen and LSU safety AJ Haulcy. He also ranked in the top five in the conference in sacks with nine. He is the first Auburn linebacker to earn first-team honors since Deshaun Davis in 2018.

Two more Tiger defenders join Atkins by receiving accolades from the SEC. Defensive linemen Keldric Faulk and Keyron Crawford earned All-SEC third team honors, while running back Jeremiah Cobb is Auburn’s lone offensive representative, where he lands on the third team.

Faulk made 29 tackles with two sacks this season. Although his stats dipped from the 2024 season, Faulk found a new way to disrupt the passing game by swatting four passes. He is receiving first-round hype as the NFL draft looms. He was most recently paired with the New York Jets at No. 6 overall in CBS Sports’ latest NFL mock draft.

Crawford was one of Auburn’s most-improved defenders in 2025 by increasing his stat line from 22 tackles in 2024 to 36 in 2025. He also returned to form as a pass rusher by logging five sacks, which ranked No. 13 in the SEC.

Finally, Jeremiah Cobb switched roles from being a contributor to the premier back midseason and thrived. Cobb ended the season with 969 rushing yards and five touchdowns, with five games of 100 or more yards. He posted a season-high 153 yards in Auburn’s 33-24 win over Arkansas, and rushed for two touchdowns in Auburn’s win over Ball State in September.
