Billie Eilish Blocked From A New No. 1 By Two Rising Superstars

Billie Eilish has largely finished promoting her album Hit Me Hard and Soft, as the most recent single from the full-length, “Wildflower,” was pushed in February 2025 – and is currently nominated for multiple Grammy Awards. While it seems unlikely that Eilish will choose another track from her bestseller as a single, the superstar recently offered her song “Skinny” as part of a short live EP on vinyl.

“Skinny” reaches a trio of tallies in the U.K. this frame, but it is counted as a standalone single, instead of as part of the simply-named Live EP. As “Skinny” debuts, Eilish almost dominates multiple rosters, but she is blocked by the same successful collaboration everywhere.

Billie Eilish Launches “Skinny” at No. 2 on Every Chart

“Skinny” debuts at No. 2 on the Official Singles Sales, Official Physical Singles, and Official Vinyl Singles charts. All three of those lists look only at pure purchases in the U.K., though there are slight differences between the tallies.

Who Blocks Billie Eilish From a New No. 1?

On all three rankings where “Skinny” debuts, Eilish is blocked from a new No. 1 by Sam Fender and Olivia Dean, as the two collaborated on a remix of his track “Reign Me In.” The cut was originally a solo tune featured on his latest album People Watching, and when he delivered a deluxe edition of the project, Dean joined in, lending her talents and popularity to the cut. Now “Reign Me In” opens at No. 1 on the Official Singles Sales, Official Physical Singles, and Official Vinyl Singles charts simultaneously.

On the Official Singles Sales chart, Eilish has run the show with “No Time to Die,” “What Was I Made For?,” and most recently, “Birds of a Feather.” Over on the Official Physical Singles ranking, Eilish has sent “My Future,” “No Time to Die,” “What Was I Made For?,” and “Ocean Eyes” to the peak position. Billie Eilish Earns a Second New Bestseller in 2025

“Skinny” marks Eilish’s first new hit on the Official Singles Sales chart of 2025, but she has been far more successful this year on the other two tallies where the track arrives. Less than a month ago, on the ranking dated November 27, “Ocean Eyes” reached No. 1, while “Guess,” her collaboration with Charli, peaked at No. 2 back in April.
