Neuer blunder and Díaz wonder goal: Union make Bayern sweat

What’s going on here?! The previously so brilliant Munich side must be rubbing their eyes in disbelief during their away game in Berlin. Because Union dominated the match for long stretches in the first half.

After a goal for Union was disallowed in the 9th minute for an incredibly tight offside, the “Eisernen” actually took the lead in the 27th minute through Doekhi.

After a corner, he was left unchallenged and sent the ball straight at Neuer, who simply let it slip through. Incidentally, this was Bayern’s first time trailing in the Bundesliga this season.

But luckily for them, Bayern still have Luis Díaz, who, after his curious appearance in Paris, was back in the spotlight and beautifully converted Bayern’s first real chance in the 38th minute. He wriggled his way into the box from the left and scored from an incredibly tight angle.

Shortly after, he also showed his darker side again and missed a clear chance in front of Rönnow, but for now, the record champions can breathe a sigh of relief. There are still 45 minutes left to decide this chaotic match in their favor.

What do you think—will FC Bayern still win at Union, or will they remain winless for the first time this season?
