MSU football offers rising Ohio 2027 WR prospect following visit for BC game

  • Michigan State has extended a scholarship offer to wide receiver prospect Trey Haddad.
  • Haddad is a 6-foot-1, unranked player from St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio.
  • The offer came after Haddad visited Michigan State for their game against Boston College.
  • Texas A&M and West Virginia have also offered the Ohio-based wide receiver.

Michigan State has joined a trio of select high-level programs to extend an offer to an Ohio wide receiver prospect that surely will pick up some more steam on the recruiting trail.

Trey Haddad of Cleveland, Ohio announced this past weekend that he’s received an offer from Michigan State. Haddad took to social media to announce the offer with a post on Saturday night.

Haddad visited Michigan State this past weekend for the marquee non-conference battle against Boston College — which Michigan State won in thrilling fashion.

Haddad is currently unranked on 247Sports, but that should change in good time. He is listed at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, and plays for St. Ignatius.

Michigan State is only the third team to extend an offer to Haddad, according to 247Spors. He also holds offers from Texas A&M and West Virginia, and has received interest from Buffalo and Cincinnati.
