Tennessee and Georgia will play for a 55th time in football on Saturday. The Vols will host Georgia in Week 3 at Neyland Stadium.
Kickoff between No. 15 Tennessee (2-0) and No. 3 Georgia (2-0) is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT. The US LBM Coaches Poll top 15 matchup will be televised by ABC with Chris Fowler (play-by-play), Kirk Herbstreit (analyst) and Holly Rowe (sideline reporter) on the call.

Jamal Lewis totaled 232 rushing yards in Tennessee’s, 38-13, win on Oct. 11, 1997 at Neyland Stadium. Jaylen Wright recorded the Vols’ longest rushing attempt in the series. He had a 75-yard run on Nov. 18, 2023 in the Bulldogs’, 38-10, victory at Tennessee.
James Stewart holds Tennessee’s record for most rushing touchdowns in one game versus Georgia. He totaled four rushing scores in a, 41-23, road win on Sept. 10, 1994.
Cedric Tillman has the most receptions and receiving yards in one contest for a Tennessee player versus Georgia all time. He totaled 10 receptions for 200 yards in a, 41-17, home loss on Nov. 13, 2021.
On Oct. 12, 1996 at Georgia, Peyton Manning recorded Tennessee’s most passing yards in the series (371). He also set a Tennessee series record for completions (31) on Oct. 11, 1997 at Neyland Stadium. Manning and the Vols outscored Georgia, 67-30, in back-to-back wins.
Tyler Bray holds Tennessee’s record for passing attempts (45) versus Georgia, in a, 51-44, road loss on Sept. 29, 2012. Casey Clausen completed Tennessee’s longest passing attempt versus the Bulldogs all time, a 90-yard completion to Mark Jones in the Vols’, 41-14, home loss on Oct. 11, 2003.
Jonathan Crompton is Tennessee’s leader for most touchdown passes in one game versus Georgia all time. He totaled four passing touchdowns for the Vols in a, 45-19, victory at Neyland Stadium on Oct. 10, 2009.
