Kansas City Chiefs OL Jaylon Moore comments on his role heading into the 2025 season

During Sunday’s training camp press conference, Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Jaylon Moore discusses his potential role playing multiple positions in the 2025 season.

“I mean, here and there, especially, being a backup of San Francisco always had to be ready for multiple things,” said Moore, “So, I mean, the biggest thing for me is just trying to keep improving wherever, wherever I gotta be that’s gonna be.”

The San Francisco 49ers‘ 2021 fifth-round pick had his longest run as a starter during a five-game stretch in the 2024 season. While starter Trent Williams was injured, he filled in admirably and had made 12 starts in his four NFL seasons.

“I mean obviously this NFL things happening, I’m just trying to be in the best position to kind of help move the team forward.” said Moore regarding his role on a new team, “I mean, it’s newer, but I mean it’s football, so I mean the biggest thing is just keep trying to take steps forward. Just keep trying to improve, looking at the film, trying to improve every day.”

Moore agreed with Kansas City at the start of free agency on a two-year, $30 million deal.
