Week 12 of the 2025 MLB season has came to an end.
Four former Vols began the week in MLB: Jordan Beck (Colorado), Garrett Crochet (Boston), Seth Halvorsen (Colorado) and Chase Dollander (Colorado).
Tennessee’s number of former Vols in MLB increased to five on Friday when second baseman Christian Moore (Angels) was called up. He played for Tennessee from 2022-24 and was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2024 MLB draft.
Crochet played for Tennessee from 2018-20 and was selected by the White Sox in the 2020 MLB draft (No. 11 overall). He was traded to the Red Sox following the 2024 season.
Beck was drafted by Colorado (No. 38 overall) in 2022 and played for the Vols from 2020-22. Halvorsen was selected by the Rockies in 2023 during the seventh round (No. 202 overall) after playing at Tennessee from 2022-23. Dollander was also drafted by the Rockies in 2023 (No. 9 overall).
Below are performances from former Vols during Week 12 of the 2025 MLB season.
Christian Moore

Moore played in the first two games of the Angels’ series at Baltimore.
He recorded one strikeout, lined out and grounded out in his debut on June 13. Moore walked in the eighth inning on June 14.
Jordan Beck

Beck hit two singles and scored one run against the Giants on June 11. He hit two singles and scored one run in a series finale win June 12.
Beck totaled one walk and one infield single at Atlanta on June 13. He hit a two-run double and scored on a disengagement violation in the seventh inning on Sunday.
Chase Dollander

Dollander suffered his seventh loss in 2025 at Atlanta on June 14. He recorded four strikeouts, while allowing six hits, three runs and three walks.
Garrett Crochet

Crochet pitched 8.1 innings and struck out seven batters, while allowing four hits, one run and one walk to the Yankees on June 13.
He was not awarded a win after allowing a home run to Aaron Judge in the ninth inning.
Seth Halvorsen

Halvorsen’s first appearance in Week 12 was a 12-pitch, two-strikeout seventh inning on June 10. The Rockies’ three-run lead over the Giants evaporated in the ninth inning.
He earned his first win of the season June 12 after a 13-pitch ninth inning. Halvorsen allowed one hit and one walk, while striking out one batter.
