The ATP Rosmalen party enters Day 4 in Den Bosch, Netherlands, and what promises to be the day’s match will be between big servers Reilly Opelka and Nicolas Jarry as they unleash cannons from their rackets in a bid to progress to the next round. Who will join either of them in the quarterfinal? We at LWOT offer our predictions.
ATP Den Bosch Day 4 Predictions
Reilly Opelka vs Nicolas Jarry
Head–to–Head: Opelka 0 vs 1 Jarry
Reilly Opelka has been gradually climbing the rankings in 2025 following his recovery from injuries, and his solid comeback win over Jesper de Jong will boost his confidence as he navigates the road ahead.
Hos opponent, Chilean Nicolas Jarry, eliminated eighth seed Luciano Darderi in a similar comeback win, and fans can anticipate quick points and strong serves when he faces Opelka for the first time in a main draw.
Jarry won in a qualifier for the French Open in 2017, but this matchup will be a very different affair after eight years and on a quicker surface. With two big servers in cue, this will go the distance, but I expect the Chilean to find a way over the line. Prediction: Opelka in 3
Hubert Hurkacz vs Mark Lajal
Head–to–Head: First Meeting
Mark Lajal continued his stunning form on grass with a comfortable win over Laslo Djere, though many will argue the grass isn’t for the Serb.
While Lajal’s form makes the match intriguing, Hubert Hurkacz is a different proposition entirely as his elite skill set on grass and higher match stamina position him as the clear favorite and provided the Pole does not suffer any physical challenges, expect a confident win. Prediction: Hurkacz in 2
Ugo Humbert vs Daniel Evans
Head–to–Head: Humbert 1 vs 1 Evans
After finally securing his first ATP Tour win of the season against Rinky Hijikata in three sets, a revitalised Dan Evans is set to face Ugo Humbert in the second round of the Libema Open on Thursday.
Evans’s rollercoaster career has been filled with ups and downs, and 2025 has undoubtedly been a low point for the 35-year-old, who has struggled without a single top-level main-draw victory in the first five months of the year.
Humbert too has struggled this year and will aim to build on his grass-court record following a commendable fourth-round performance at Wimbledon last year, which was followed by a final loss to Alexander Zverev at the Paris Masters.
They have only met once on tour, where the Frenchman won in a thrilling three-set match during the semi-finals of the 2020 European Open in Antwerp.
A rejuvenated and aggressive Humbert is expected to encounter minimal challenges in defeating his British rival and progressing further towards securing a second grass-court title. Prediction: Humbert in 2
