10 best tweets and highlights from Day 2 of Broncos mandatory minicamp

The Denver Broncos returned to the practice field for Day 2 of mandatory minicamp on Wednesday. The team is scheduled to have one more practice session on Thursday before players get a summer break.

“[Tuesday was] really our first day of minicamp,” coach Sean Payton said after the team’s first session of the week. “You guys have seen enough of this. It’s very similar to what we’re doing in the OTAs. If you asked me what the difference is, there’s a little bit longer meeting time, a little bit longer post-practice meeting time and we’re allowed to be on the field a little bit longer. [Tuesday] was a lot of red zone work. I liked our energy. It got a little warm, but I thought the guys handled it really well.”

On the attendance front, Broncos wide receiver Devaughn Vele was absent again after also not attending Tuesday’s session.
