Liverpool edging closer to second summer signing
Liverpool are edging closer to an agreement with Bournemouth over a deal to sign left-back Milos Kerkez.
A final round of talks is expected as the Premier League sides look to reach an agreement for the Hungarian.
Kerkez has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool and is keen on the move, with the teams currently communicating over the final fee. Bournemouth are understood to be demanding a fee in excess of £40m for the Hungarian.
Liverpool nearing Milos Kerkez transfer agreement
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that an agreement is close with confidence from all parties that a transfer will be agreed this week.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes was b behind Bournemouth’s signing of Kerkez from AZ Alkmaar in 2023, before his move to Anfield last summer.

Kerkez has impressed across his two seasons at Bournemouth and is viewed as the long-term successor to Andy Robertson at left-back. The 21-year-old scored twice and provided five assists for the Cherries in the Premier League in 2024/25.
Liverpool are pushing to make Kerkez their second summer signing, following the arrival of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Reds also remain locked in negotiations with Leverkusen over a deal for Florian Wirtz. The Bundesliga side have rejected a club-record offer of €130m (£109m) from Liverpool, which falls short of their €150m (£126m) valuation. That fee would represent a British transfer record deal.
