Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry answered questions at his pre-2025 NFL Draft press conference this afternoon in Berea. One of the more popular topics was whether the Browns still plan to bring in a rookie quarterback after the signing of veteran Joe Flacco.
The Browns’ front office has been exploring numerous quarterback options throughout the pre-draft process. Berry and the Browns’ brass have been very clear in their focus on finding a younger, long-term answer at quarterback. During his presser, Andrew Berry made it clear that the signing of Flacco will not change their plans for next week’s NFL Draft.
Andrew Berry has been a fan of multiple quarterback prospects, including Alabama’s Jalen Milroe. The former Crimson Tide player is a versatile prospect who could be a target for the Browns with their 33rd overall pick at the top of the second round. Milroe would also be reunited with his former offensive coordinator and current Browns offensive coordinator, Tommy Rees.
Quarterback prospects Shedeur Sanders, Tyler Shough, and Jaxson Dart have also made visits to the Browns’ facility in Berea. While Andrew Berry has shown a preference for specific quarterbacks, nearly all of the young gunslingers remain on the table for Cleveland.
