Eugenie Bouchard takes a feisty dig at Iga Swiatek as she resonates with Nick Kyrgios’ remarks about the Pole’s doping suspension

Since the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) announced that Iga Swiatek failed a doping test back in August, the tennis community has turned upside down. With a plethora of opinions about the issue, Nick Kyrgios message on social media seems to resonate with many, including Eugenie Bouchard, who took a dig at the WTA No. 2.

On Thursday (November 28), the ITIA announced that Swiatek tested positive for a banned substance trimetazidine (TMZ), a medication used to treat heart-related conditions. The Polish star was then handed a one-month provisional suspension as a result of that. The ITIA revealed that it accepted Swiatek’s defense that the positive test was caused by contamination of the regulated non-prescription medication melatonin, which she took for jet lag and sleep.
