Toyota has announced the ultimate version of the current generation GR Supra, before the model bows out of production. The Toyota GR Supra A90 Final Edition will be limited to 300 units for Japan and Europe, featuring a number of enhancements including a more powerful engine, KW suspension, stronger brakes, and more aggressive carbon fiber aero components.
Starting with the performance gains, the A90 Final Edition is fitted with an uprated version of the BMW-sourced turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine generating 429 hp (320 kW / 435 PS) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. This represents an increase of 94 hp (70 kW / 95 PS) and 70 Nm (52 lb-ft) over the stock version, made possible by a revised air intake, a new catalyst, and optimized engine controls.

The Final Edition might not adopt the GRMN moniker as suggested by the rumors, but has everything you’d expect from a swan song – including a swan neck rear spoiler made of carbon fiber. Other visual treats include a vented hood, a revised splitter with canards, and an afterburner-like finish on the dual tailpipes.

Inside, we find a pair of carbon fiber Recaro Podium CF buckets upholstered in Alcantara. The driver’s seat is finished in red, matching the center console, seatbelts, and driver’s side door card. On the contrary, the passenger seat and the rest of the cabin is black with lots of Alcantara and carbon fiber accents.
The Standard GR Supra Also Got Better
Besides the special edition, Toyota has also revealed a mildly updated version of the GR Supra for its last year of availability in global markets including Japan, Europe, and Australia.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
