Minutes before it was announced he made an unrelated cooking post on Instagram
It came after MasterChef production company Banijay UK said complaints have been made this week in relation to “historical allegations” of misconduct from Gregg while on the show.
While Gregg must be aware that an investigation into his behaviour has been launched by Banijay UK, it looks like he not informed of the exact time frame that a statement would be released about it to the public.
This seems to be the case because Gregg was posting as usual on Instagram up until minutes before the news broke.
This morning he shared a story detailing his schedule for the day, which included going for a walk in the garden and filming a promo clip for his healthy ready meals range.

Moments before it was revealed that he is under investigation he posted a video of himself making prawn tacos.
In it he told followers: “It is so delicious and so filling and soooo much healthier than that takeaway you were going to order!
“Save your money and make these instead – prepped in 10 mins and absolutely no cooking.”
Even after the news that he is stepping down from MasterChef went public followers continued to praise his recipe.
One fan gushed: “Mmmmmm love this.. yummy.”
Another giggled: “I can’t stop singing ‘we built these tacos’. Delicious food. Thank you for sharing.”
SUNEXCL Gregg Wallace and wife Anne look tense on return from Italy holiday amid BBC investigation into his ‘sexual comments’
However, one person did allude to his current situation, mournfully writing: “I hope the rumours on Twitter are untrue Gregg Wallace.”
The Sun told how the Gregg first landed himself in hot water with BBC bosses in 2018 for taking off his top and bragging about romps.
He was hauled into a meeting accused of making “inappropriate sexual comments” to a female staffer on BBC game show Impossible Celebrities.
Then in 2023, he was accused of being rude to women while working on BBC’s Inside The Factory.
After the complaints were raised, Gregg admitted he had made comments but denied they were sexual.
The BBC has confirmed today that 3 people who worked with Gregg across a range of shows over a 17-year period have now accused him of making sexual comments.
