The UFC’s final pay-per-view of 2024 takes another hit.
The promotion announced on Wednesday that after Martin Buday’s withdrawal from his scheduled matchup at UFC 310 with Rizvan Kuniev, the fight was scrapped from the event altogether as a replacement will not be found for Kuniev.
With the fight removal, that now makes five total card shuffle-ups for the Dec. 7 card at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas — including the original main event between welterweight champion Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov after Muhammad was forced out of the bout due a nasty bone infection.
UFC 310 currently has 14 bouts scheduled. In the main event, Alexandre Pantoja puts the UFC flyweight title on the line against former RIZIN champ, and promotional newcomer KAi Asakura.
Rakhmonov remains on the card in the co-main event as he faces fellow undefeated welterweight Ian Machado Garry in a five-round bout.
