Would You Watch ‘Real Housewives of MAGA?’ ‘RHOA’ Star Phaedra Parks Has Thoughts

With Donald Trump heading back to the White House, the next four years are going to be difficult for a lot of us. In the entertainment world, studios and networks will be looking for new ways to appeal to his supporters. While speaking to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks, one reporter suggested that Bravo might want to look into doing “The Real Housewives of MAGA.” Parks didn’t seem too excited about the idea, however she did admit that it “would be definitely interesting, but very volatile.” She also thinks it could be boundary pushing.

Despite franchise boss Andy Cohen’s public endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris, with series set in wealthy areas of Orange County; Salt Lake City; Potomac; Beverly Hills; and Miami, there are probably already cast members who voted for Trump.

Honestly, a separate entry that specifically features Housewives who classify themselves as MAGA might be redundant. As far as fans are concerned, some are totally on board, declaring they’re “here for it.”

One person wondered if Parks was sugarcoating things, writing on X, “A MAGA-themed Housewives cast would definitely be explosive, but “volatile” might be putting it lightly. Phaedra knows drama, but this concept feels like it’s asking for chaos on a whole new level.”

Another user noted that the cast of the franchise likely already includes Trump supporters, posting, “80 [percent] of real housewives are MAGA. Id bet good money on that. They wont admit it cause Andy cohen will fire their ass. like he has already done to some. I just wish they would sue him & bravo for discrimination.”

One viewer who seems to understand how the franchise works, asked, “Isn’t the show scripted, just tell the writers to make it less or more volatile?”

“The Real Housewives” franchise is in need of a refresh, so we could see Bravo thinking this would create the controversy it no longer generates. The question is do the series’ fans want this kind of controversy?
