South Korea Producer Prices Slip 0.1% In October

Producer prices in South Korea were down a seasonally adjusted 0.1 percent on month in October, the Bank of Korea said on Wednesday – after easing 0.2 percent in September.

Individually, prices for agricultural, forestry and marine products dropped 8.7 percent on month, while manufacturing products and services both rose 0.2 percent and utilities added 0.8 percent.

On a yearly basis, producer prices were up 1.0 percent for the second straight month.

Individually, prices for agricultural, forestry and marine products rose 0.5 percent on year, while manufacturing products dipped 0.3 percent, services climbed 2.2 percent and utilities jumped 4.2 percent.
