‘Against Coco it isn’t easy,’ Iga Swiatek focuses on tactics ahead of facing Coco Gauff in Roland Garros

‘Queen of clay’ Iga Swiatek continues to prove why she is so deadly on the soil surface as she gets past her quarterfinals of the French Open in style. After cruising past most of her previous matches, the Pole was up against Wimbledon winner Marketa Vondrousova in the quarterfinals.

It seemed like a competitive match-up between two Grand Slam winners. However, the match was unlike all expectations and Swiatek did not stop to put her foot on the pedal and easily drove past Vondrousova in straight sets. Swiatek won the game 6-0, 6-2 to record yet another quick win and a position in the semi-finals against Coco Gauff.
