When you win everything, it's not easy to stay motivated. Grand Slam tournaments are what matters most to him. He still has two weeks to concentrate. Novak doesn't panic. He will find a way like he always does. Nothing will be able to stop him then. I hope he does.

Said Goran Ivanisevic in a recent interview with Watson

After having broken with his coach, Djokovic had a decent semi-final run at the Monte Carlo Masters but followed that with another early exit at the Rome Open. Despite taking time to prepare, the Serbian fell in straight sets to Alejandro Tabilo.

Now, the Roland Garros defending champion is gearing up for the second Grand Slam of the season. However, he has changed up his usual routine and will play in the ATP Geneva Open, which is just before the Slam.

His former coach, Goran Ivanisevic, is rather hopeful about the Serbian’s form heading into the French Open. The Czech coach believes that Grand Slams stand differently for the Serbian and will try to win them. Furthermore, Ivanisevic also hopes that Djokovic remains mentally positive to try to win in Paris.

Novak will be ready for Roland Garros. He wasn't good on clay last year – and he still won in Paris. If he is mentally ready, he will win Roland Garros. And I think he will be motivated. Which would mean that Djokovic will win the tournament.

Said Goran Ivansevic.

Currently, the Serbian will try his luck in Geneva and would hope to carry that form to Roland Garros and possibly defend his title there. Even though the participation of some top ATP stars is not confirmed, Djokovic stands a good chance to prove everyone wrong and get back to form.
