Luis Palma scored a late winner as champions Celtic twice came from behind to round off another successful Premiership campaign with a 3-2 victory over St Mirren on trophy presentation day at Parkhead.
St Mirren captain Mark O’Hara twice gave the visitors the lead but goals from Matt O’Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi had Celtic level at the break.
The second half was a quieter affair but Palma converted Anthony Ralston’s cross from close range in the 86th minute to give the home fans more reason to cheer ahead of the presentation of the silverware.
Rangers let slip a commanding two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Hearts at Tynecastle.
Lawrence Shankland clipped in his 31st goal of the season for the third-placed home side in the 33rd minute of the dead rubber before Rangers winger Ross McCausland levelled in the 52nd minute, with Todd Cantwell finishing in a similar style in the 69th minute.
It looked like three points for Philippe Clement’s side when substitute Fabio Silva drilled in a third with 11 minutes remaining but Hearts’ substitute Dexter Lembikisa’s volley in the 82nd minute reduced the deficit.
Kyosuke Tagawa, another Hearts substitute, dramatically levelled in the last of five added minutes, leaving the Light Blues’ Belgian manager with more questions than answers ahead of next week’s Scottish Cup final against three-in-row league champions Celtic at Hampden Park.
Dundee and Kilmarnock signed off on their impressive campaigns with a 1-1 draw at Dens Park as former colleagues Tony Docherty and Derek McInnes shared the spoils with each other for the fourth consecutive time.
Both managers have thrived since Docherty left his long-time role as assistant to McInnes to become manager of the Dark Blues a year ago, and their buoyant teams have proved inseparable on the pitch this term, with each of their three previous encounters ending 2-2.
