Sometimes when you gotta go you gotta go. This was the case with Tyrese this past weekend when he seemingly disappeared in the middle of his live show.

If you haven’t seen it yet, a video has been circulating on social media of the R&B singer performing at his concert at the Stockbridge Amphitheater in Georgia. The clip seems fairly normal, as Tyrese is seen serenading the crowd like he normally does.

Except, during the middle of his performance of “How You Gonna Act Like That?” a security guard appears to approach on stage to interrupt Tyrese’s concert and whisper something in his ear as he was performing.

Although Tyrese keeps on singing, he is seen exiting the stage, leaving the entire crowd confused. Watch the video of the incident below:

According to TMZ, Tyrese left his live show early due to him being served legal papers related to a lawsuit filed by Bryan Barber in October 2023.

Barber is suing Tyrese for defamation and libel, claiming that he said some nasty words about him during an appearance on “The Breakfast Club.” During his appearance, Tyrese said Barber was withholding some footage he wanted, among other things. Barber believed that the R&B singer and actor hurt his reputation and is seeking $10 million from the “2 Fast 2 Furious” star.

Barber is a music video and movie director who has worked with several popular artists, most notably Outkast on the 2006 film “Idlewild”, which he wrote, directed, and produced. He’s also worked on music videos with artists such as UGK, Keri Hilson, The Game, Akon, T-Pain,, Bow Wow, John Legend, Destiny’s Child and many more.
