Love Island’s Georgia Harrison reignites feud with ex Anton Danyluk with new swipe

LOVE Island’s Georgia Harrison appears to have taken a swipe at her ex-boyfriend Anton Danyluk with a cheeky TikTok post.

The All Stars pairing split up last month and have taken little pot shots at the romance in social media posts ever since.

Though she doesn’t name Anton in her latest upload, it’s easy to come to the conclusion that she’s referring to her most recent ex.

Sitting with a pint of beer in hand, Georgia says that her ex said “girls drinking beer gave him the ick”, before taking a big gulp of beer and saying “every drop tastes that little bit better”.

Last week Anton finally addressed the split and the real reason behind it, admitting there wasn’t a romantic spark between himself and Georgia.

The Scottish fitness fanatic lifted the lid on the break-up in his What’s the Crack? podcast alongside his mum Sherrie, who told him she never saw them as more than friends.

The pair, both 29, spent a good chunk of time on the show defending their romance to fans and their fellow islanders after Georgia was accused of ‘faking it’.

They went their separate ways in April with distance being cited as the reason why.

But Anton said it was in fact down to the lack of chemistry between them.

He told his mum: “I thought it was be best to talk about it on the podcast so you can hear it from the horse’s mouth. In the press, a source said the distance was the issue, now we were in London every other week so I don’t think distance was the issue.

“Obviously that wasn’t the case.  I just wanted to clear up the whole break up in general. I think it’s we’ve come out of the villa and we tried to give it a fair go but I think it’s fair to say.”

Sherrie – who came under fire for her views on Georgia – interjected:  “You did see each other quite a lot, but me being your mother I just knew within that it was actually just a rally really good friendship, I think the two of you got more into that friendship with each other.”

Anton agreed, adding: “I just don’t think there was really that romantic spark there. We did both try. At times it was there but just not enough for it to continue as a relationship.”

While his mum said “the fire never really sparked”, Anton continued: “Especially for Georgia, she had so many people on her side wanting it to work for her but it was just never there for her I don’t think.”

His mum went on to say, “you could see it was never there for Georgia”, while Anton defended Georgia and said she did really try.

Anton previously hinted that he disagreed that distance was the reason behind their split.

Just a day after their split was revealed, he shared a quote that said: “If someone truly loves you, distance is not a problem.

“It’s just the power of making love grow each day.”

Just a day after their split was revealed and a source blamed it on the 400 miles between them, Anton shared a quote that said: “If someone truly loves you, distance is not a problem.

“It’s just the power of making love grow each day.”

While travelling with his mum in Pisa, Italy, Anton appeared to be looking for the positives in the relationship breakdown.

Sharing snaps by the Leaning Tower of Pisa, he wrote: “When things appear to be falling over, step back and see the beauty in it.”

Most brutally of all, Anton voiced his regret at ever taking part in All Stars.

He told fans: “I hated every minute of it. Part of me wishes I had never done it again just because ’cause it kind of ruined my Love Island experience. There were times I just questioned what am I actually doing.”

Meanwhile, Georgia took to  Instagram to share a montage about ‘marrying her best friend’.

The video showed a couple messing around together, with clips of them singing at a concert, splashing about in a swimming pool and dancing together.

The caption said: “Proof you should marry your best friend.”

Georgia then said: “If it ain’t this I don’t want it,” with laughing emojis, suggesting her latest romance most certainly wasn’t that.

Days after the relationship ended, Georgia shared a tongue-in-cheek video on TikTok showing her desperately trying to escape any reference to it.

Georgia nervously looked over her shoulder and ran through the complex as she was ‘chased’ by the question “Are you still together?”
