Cow People, traders at Glasgow’s iconic Barras Market in the east end, are selling a range of custom-painted boots inspired by Taylor Swift’s albums.

Fans have urged others to “run don’t walk” to pick up the stunning designs, which can be snapped up for £189 with a £60 deposit.

Swifties can choose to have their favourite album illustrated on the boots, with 1989, Lover and Reputation available to choose from.

Cow People wrote on Instagram: “Thank you Swifties for your amazing support this week.

“We’ve been custom-painting these Eras Tour style boots for months, in preparation for the upcoming European dates and can’t wait to see you all in them”.

The boots, which are available in UK sizes 3-8, must be picked up in person at the Barras Market in Glasgow.

Fans flocked to social media to rave over the intricate designs – with many planning a trip to the market.

“Had the loveliest experience trying them on also.”

A third added: “The dream!”

The hotly anticipated shows are set to be Scotland’s biggest selling stadium gigs with tickets selling out in a matter of minutes.

Some Swifties are speculating the singer-songwriter could be extending the already huge three-and-a-half hour set to include tracks from her new album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The surprise double record with 31 new songs dropped last month and is Swift’s eleventh studio album.

It comes as Swift fans face their own Cruel Summer as tickets for her shows soar to nearly £8,000.
