KATIE Price has revealed she’s teaming up with Kerry Katona after landing a huge new role.

The 45-year-old was recently threatened with jail after dodging court earlier this month where she was due to give evidence about her finances.

Former glamour model Katie was recently declared bankrupt for a second time over an unpaid tax bill of more than £750,000.

But it’s business as usual for the Pricey as she’s told fans of a new project with long-time pal Kerry, 43.

The two stars will appear in a Cinderella panto as the ugly stepsisters.

Revealing the news on her podcast, Katie said: “I’ve signed up to another Panto! Cinderella!

“I’ve signed up for Cinderella and I’m one of the ugly sisters – and guess who is the ugly sister I’m doing it with – it’s Kerry Katona!”

Katie continued: “So Kerry got me the gig because she has been working with them for six years. And she was like ‘why don’t you come and do this panto’, and she said it was for the ugly sisters and I said ‘oh are we ugly then?’ and she said we can still be really pretty.

“And we can sing and I said ‘well I can sing better than you Kerry’. Because we have known each other 22 years even before she was in Atomic Kitten and the Jungle.

“So we know each other well and we can have innuendos and stuff on stage and little digs so it will be good to do that this year with her.”

Katie also hit back at claims she’d “gone off on a jolly” after she and boyfriend JJ Slater were snapped in Cyprus as she missed court.

She said: “I was supposed to come away [on holiday] no one knew I was coming away other than professionals around me.

“The court knew that I wasn’t going to my bankruptcy because mentally I have been signed off from any kind of activity of the court. To be cross examined in front of the media and the public.

“I am taking my bankruptcy so serious, like I do everything else, it is a very serious situation that I am in.”

Addressing claims she had ignored her financial woes, the star continued: “It does look like ‘she’s just gone on holiday’.

“No. There were just four days in my diary that I was able to go away.”

Her Sophie – who announced yesterday she is pregnant with her second child – interjected, saying: “How it looks… as if you don’t turn up to court hearings, you make excuses but you’ll f**k off on holiday. That’s how it looks.”

Katie replied: “The public are influenced, but you’ve got my words from me here when I say I’m not mentally able and stable to go into court at the moment. I am only doing what my body and brain can do at the moment.”
