Strictly judge praises the King and Princess Kate
Strictly head judge Shirley Ballas has praised the King and Princess Kate for speaking publicly about their cancer treatments.
The TV star, 63, described the pair as inspiring — after she revealed her own breast cancer scare.
She had three biopsies taken from her left breast last week and is awaiting the results, she told the Sun on Sunday.
Will Meghan ever return to the UK?
That’s what Joanna wanted to know.
Matt replied: Meghan has shown very little interest in doing anything in the UK since Megxit.
Interestingly, the Sussex camp has neither confirmed nor denied whether Meghan will join Harry when he flies over next week.
The Sussex camp has carefully worded their announcement Meghan won’t be at the service but will join Harry for their Nigeria trip. Is she coming or not?
I get the impression the Sussexes are waiting to test the reaction before making a decision or announcement this time. Talks could be happening in the background in a vain hope that Meghan could arrive with their children and meet the King.
She could join Harry at other Invictus events held next week. But I think she knows that she is not welcome and being the centre of attention will not go down well.
Yes, I’d expect her to return on the odd occasion for major events like funerals, marriages or coronations, like Wallis Simpson would. But as for next week? Watch this space.
Kate’s six-word message to kids after cancer diagnosis
Princess Kate spoke of the heartbreaking moment she revealed her cancer diagnosis to Louis, Charlotte and George.
In her video to the public, Kate explained how she reassured her children with a six-word promise, telling the young royals: “I am going to be ok.”
Kate said: “As you can imagine, this has taken time.
“It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.
“But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.”
William helps at Earthshot charity as King Charles makes royal return
Prince William has been pictured helping at an Earthshot charity event today.
Wills, 41, attended Low Carbon Materials, in Seaham, County Durham, a charity that took part in his Earthshot prize in 2022.
This comes as King Charles made his return to public duties today, following his cancer diagnosis earlier in the year.
