TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing) revealed the first model of its new era, dubbed the “Supercat”. The V12-powered restomod is based on the Jaguar XJS but features significant mechanical and visual upgrades, making it suitable for the road and the track.
The carbon fiber exterior was penned by digital artist Khyzyl Saleem in collaboration with renowned designer and collector Magnus Walker. It makes the XJR look like a racecar, with modern LEDs and pronounced aero components.
The physical debut of the TWR Supercat is expected this summer. Production will be limited to 88 units, priced from £225,000 ($282,200) before taxes. The model will be available in the UK and major international markets including the US.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
