- Pininfarina has unveiled four special editions inspired by Bruce Wayne.
- They’re based on the B95 and Battista, and start at roughly $3.6 million.
- The cars sport a handful of unique features including aerodynamic and design improvements on the Battista.
Batman’s alter ego is getting an upgrade as Automobili Pininfarina has struck a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products and Relevance International. The end result is a series of “bespoke pure-electric vehicles inspired by DC’s Bruce Wayne.”
The lineup consists of four special editions based on the B95 and Battista. Each is offered in Gotham and Dark Knight guise.

Regardless of which model is selected, all have unique door sill plates and “Wayne Enterprises-inspired HMI display enhancements, featuring an instruction voice inspired by Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler and assistant, Alfred Pennyworth.” All four cars also have a 120 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that powers a quad-motor all-wheel drive system developing 1,874 hp (1,398 kW / 1,900 PS). This enables them to rocket from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in less than two seconds.
While the vehicles have a lot in common, the Battista is notable for featuring a unique design that includes “tailgate shark fins and louver openings in the front and rear carbon fiber wings to improve overall aerodynamic efficiency towards the rear airbrake and vehicle side body.” The model also has logos for Wayne Enterprises as well as a “completely new door and roof design where a large portion of the roof is curved glass, to lighten the interior ambience.”
Getting down to trim-level differences, Gotham variants “reflect the more gentle, civilian sophistication of Bruce Wayne.” They have an Argento Vittorio body and a Nero Torino roof. Buyers will also find an illuminated logo as well as 20- and 21-inch wheels with a gloss and matte black finish. Inside, there’s tan leather and tan contrast stitching.
The Dark Knight specification embraces the caped crusader with a black leather and Alcantara interior that features gold contrast stitching. They’re joined by Nero Profondo bodywork, a Nero Torino roof, and ceramic-polished wheels.
The vehicles are available to purchase at BruceWayneX.com and the Battistas cost €3,400,000 ($3,630,928 / £2,903,980). The B95s, on the other hand, will set you back €4,900,000 ($5,232,808 / £4,185,237).
While kids normally grow up wanting to be Batman, the decision to focus on Bruce Wayne is interesting as he’s effectively a trust fund baby that struck it rich when his parents were killed. That might be a little telling about Automobili Pininfarina’s clientele.
