A Love Island star sent fans into a frenzy after he was spotted on Tinder.

Mitchel Taylor who became known as ‘Messy Mitch’ on the show, has decided to try his hand at online dating instead.

Under a heavily-posed snap of himself, he wrote in his bio: “I’ll hardly be on this but if you catch my eye I know I’ve made the ‘right’ choice”.

After spotting the TV star, one fan wrote on Reddit: “Hyperventilating a bit, love spotting islanders in the wild even when I’m not a fan of them personally! Quite surprised he doesn’t mention LI at all though?

“And why does the quotations around “right” crack me up so much?!? Unfortunately (for the s**** and gigs and general tomfoolery that could’ve happened) he will definitely not match with me”

According to Mitch’s representative, it’s an old profile and he hasn’t been active on it for a while.

Last month Mitch was seen holding hands with Celebrity Big Brother star Jemma Lucy.

The couple looked blissfully happy as they walked hand in hand on a shopping trip.

Mitch carried the bags as he wrapped his arm around Jemma as she appeared dressed down in a casual look with sweatpants, trainers and her long red hair down and loose.

The couple headed into high street shops on London’s Oxford Street after Mitch returned from a trip to Dubai.

A source close to the pair said: “They’ve got great chemistry and get on really well so were keen to meet up soon after he got out of the villa. They’ve been getting to know each other and are excited to see what happens.”

The month before the couple enjoyed a belated Valentine’s Day meal as they were spotted during a lunch date where the Sheffield engineer had bought his tattooed beauty flowers.

Sharing their date plans to Instagram, the pair both updated fans with a snap from the day as Jemma wrote in her caption, “Catch up,” along with a blue heart emoji.

On the show, Mitch was coupled up with Liberty Poole for a short-lived romance.

The couple split after being axed from the villa after they were voted the least popular couple by Love Island All Stars viewers.

Last week, Anton Danyluk reignited his villa feud with Mitch by taking a swipe at his ‘morals’.

Mitch clashed with Anton on the show over his comments about dating Liberty for “clout”.

The gas engineer was taken aback when he heard his friend had slammed him to Liberty, who he was coupled up with at the time.

Liberty had gone to Anton for advice about her relationship, fearing that his heart was not 100 percent in it.

The Scot confirmed her worst fears as he shared his side of the story in a clip shared to Reddit from a new podcast.

He explained, “Basically what happened was he’d picked a girl that he was in a couple with, but he had told other girls that he wanted to get to know them.

“And he had actually just really upset this girl because she started to really like him. He was feeding her false information to make her like him. But he didn’t actually mean what he said.

“And I think that the girl just got so confused by the whole thing because he was saying one thing to her, but then acting in a completely different way.

“His actions weren’t obviously contributing to how we felt about her and it was actually really upsetting the girl, like, to the point where she was crying twice.

“What actually happened on the show is I actually got on with a lot of girls very, very well. I think they always felt they could come to me for advice

“So, she just happened to come to me for advice on that situation. I gave her my exact opinion of what I thought. My opinion wasn’t very… I thought that his intentions were wrong.

“Obviously, she had then went back and told him that I thought this. So he felt that I was breaking bro codes by telling her how I felt.”

Anton added that he refused to abide by ‘bro code’ and lie to save Mitch’s back if he didn’t feel his actions were genuine.
