‘It’s impossible to beat him,’ Alexander Bublik once called Daniil Medvedev a ‘GOD’
World No. 4 Daniil Medvedev continued his winning ways at Caga Magica by securing a victory in the fourth round by beating 17th seed Alexander Bublik on Tuesday (April 30). After losing the match 7-6(3), 6-4 in one hour and 44 minutes, Bublik’s ‘God’ comment to describe Medvedev went viral again.
The Kazakh star, who defeated his previous two opponents in three sets in Madrid, has yet to beat Medvedev despite playing six matches against him. During an interview with Vremya Tennisa, Bublik joked that it’s impossible to beat the Russian, calling him a “God“.
