Fan KICKED OUT of World Snooker Championship as BBC commentator fumes ‘honestly, we don’t need that’

A ROWDY snooker fan was KICKED OUT of the World Championships for shouting a split second before Mark Allen looked to sink a crucial shot.

Silence befell the Crucible before Allen looked to secure a definitive frame against rival John Higgins.

But a lout stunned fans in attendance at the historic Sheffield venue and the thousands watching at home by screaming at the top of their lungs.

Allen couldn’t quite believe it and shot a furious look over in the direction of the outrageous outburst.

One of Eurosport’s commentators could quite believe his ears and was quick to lambast the loudmouth punter.

He said: “Oh goodness. Honestly – we don’t need that. Whoever did call out is going to be removed.”

Other snooker fans voiced their dismay on social media, with one writing on X: “Ridiculous behaviour.”

Another said: “Imagine having tickets to the crucible, getting to watch Allen and Higgins and then being that stupid.”

And another said: “Prat.”

One remarked: “And he missed that epic match all in the name of being a f***ing b*****d.”

Another chimed in: “Please everyone, respect the players, it’s their job and how they earn a living.”

The crowd burst into applause as the fan was removed, prompting the co-commentator to say: “And rightly so.

The loudmouth fan ended up missing an incredible finale to the eagerly-anticipated clash between Higgins and Allen.

Higgins came from 10-7 down to reach the second round with a thrilling 13-12 win, which was decided on the final black.

When asked where he ranks the incredible clearance, the Scot said: “It’s the best. It will live with me forever.

“After everything that has gone before over the last two years, to stand up under the most intense pressure is a very proud moment for me.

“When I came to the table I knew that the double was my only chance, and when that went in, I knew it was on.
