Edwards, 25, had helped his side battle back from 2-0 down as he assisted Viktor Gyökeres as the striker netted his second goal to level the scores.

However, that was not the end of the drama for the Englishman as he clashed with Loader.

The pair tangled on the edge of the pitch before knocking heads together.

Edwards then slapped Loader on the side of the head causing the striker to drop to the floor.
