Balamory star is worlds away from iconic kids’ show as she strips down to swimsuit and jumps in ice cold sea
A BALAMORY star looked worlds away from her beloved character as she stripped down for an ice cold swim.
Julie Wilson Nimmo took to social media to share her sea swim with fans as she braved the waters.

The actress, who played fan-favourite Miss Hoolie on Balamory over 20 years ago, stripped down to a black swimsuit for her dip in the sea.
Julie’s skin was red from the cold but that didn’t stop the star from telling fans how “beautiful” the water was.
The 52-year-old is an eager sea swimmer and is also part of a club that promotes the activity.
Commenting on her video, one fan said: “Looks awesome! I have a weeks worth of swimming to make up for, can’t wait to get in tomorrow!”

A second wrote: “Jules… I just can’t… I literally find your posts hilarious song when Greg pipes in… it’s honestly my daily highlight.”
“Water looks wonderful, Jules,” said a third.
Meanwhile, earlier this year Balamory fans were left delighted as the Scottish star returned to the fictional seaside village.
The children’s show kicked off in 2002 and ran for four seasons and was set in Tobermory, in Scotland.
