‘She looks like a teenager’ say shocked fans as pop icon, 61, looks younger than ever 32 years after first single

POP icon Vanessa Williams today had fans calling her a “teenager” as she wowed in her new music video.

The 61-year-old star looked like she hadn’t aged a day since her 90s hit song, Save The Best For Last.

The singer and actress has dropped her latest music video for her song, Legs.

In the video she can be seen showing off her youthful looks as she dances to the song.

Posting the clip on social media, Vanessa’s fans went wild, and immediately complimented her on her age-dying loos.

One joked: “Shame you couldn’t find the video of Vanessa and had to post this upcoming teenager instead!!”

While another commented: “she is unbelievably iconic for this!”

This one added: “Vanessa, girl! You don’t age!”

Vanessa has had a successful career after being crowned Miss America in the late 80s.

She went on to release her biggest hit, Save The Best For Last, in 1991, before performing on Broadway and as Wilhelmina Slater in TV show Ugly Betty, which aired in 2006.

Meanwhile, earlier this year Vanessa announced that she would be starring in Elton John’s The Devil Wears Prada West End adaption.

The singer and actress is set to portray Miranda Priestly.

Vanessa shared the exiting news on social media in February, and gave fans a glimpse of her playing the terrifying editor-in-chief of Runway magazine.

The camera followed the character around the Runway office, before she sat down at her desk and removed her sunglasses.

Bringing Miranda Priestly to life in the West End is an absolute dream come true.

She then said: “Don’t just sit there. Buy tickets or something.”

Vanessa said that “bringing Miranda Priestly to life in the West End is an absolute dream come true”.

The role was originally played by Meryl Streep in the 2006 movie, which also starred Anne Hathaway as Miranda’s assistant Andrea ‘Andy’ Sachs.

The show will run from July to October in the UK, kicking off at Plymouth Theatre before arriving at London‘s Dominion Theatre.

Vanessa is no stranger to the stage and has been in a number of Broadway shows, including a Tony-nominated performance in Into the Woods in 2002 and Horton Foote’s in 2013.

The popular star has also enjoyed a TV career.

As well as Ugly Betty, she also starred as Renee Perry in Desperate Housewives from 2010 to 2012.
