Littler, 17, defeated Rob Cross 6-2 in the final to claim his third night win of the season.

No sooner had he triumphed, was the teenage prodigy having to jet out to the continent for his next event.

The Brit is due to take part in the Austrian Darts Open this weekend.

He has been drawn to face local hero Zoran Lerchbacher, 51, in the first round.

The contest is due to take place during today’s evening session in Graz, Lerchbacher’s hometown.

At around 7:30 this morning, Littler shared a picture on his Instagram Story as he appeared to arrive in Austria.

The image featured early morning sunshine over tarmac and grass, with Littler captioning it “austria” for his 1.3million followers.

This weekend’s event has a £175,000 prize pot, with the winner set to take home £24k.

The runner-up will pocket £12k, with beaten semi-finalists earning £7,600 apiece.

Those that lose in round one will collect £400 for their troubles.

Having defied the boo boys to win in Liverpool last night, a delighted Littler spoke to Sky Sports after virtually securing his place in the Premier League play-offs at London’s 02 Arena next month.

On the crowd’s jeers, Littler said: “I knew what was coming this week and I was building up to it.

“I always engage with the crowd and the semi-final I was playing with complete freedom.

“I just felt comfortable tonight. I knew what was coming and I was glad to win.”

Littler’s next Premier League Darts action will come in Aberdeen next Thursday, where he will take on Nathan Aspinall in the quarter-finals.
