In her viral video, Cynthia Villegas (@vintageandgraceliving) showed her followers how to easily “enhance” their gardens.

For her first step, the Instagrammer picked up two plastic punch bowls from the store.

She explained that each outdoor light requires two large punch bowls.

Cynthia told her viewers that she had to brainstorm how to create the light for the inside of each dome.

She decided to use solar pathway lights, which are available from Costco.

Cynthia pointed out that solar lights are ideal as they are rechargeable and don’t require batteries.

According to the DIY professional, solar globe lights usually sell for $30 apiece.

She suggested spray painting each punch bowl to give it a frosted finish.

Since the frosted glass is still transparent, direct sunlight will still be able to filter through and charge the solar lights.

Cynthia also offered a “pro tip,” which involved drilling “a small hole on top to let more direct sunlight filter through.”

She recommended securing the bowls together with glue after placing the solar lights inside.

“I use four dots, don’t go crazy, [just use] enough so the wind doesn’t blow them away,” she said.

Cynthia revealed that she made seven lights in total and placed them around her flowerbeds.

“Honestly, it’s a game changer. The night outdoor ambiance is amazing,” she told her followers.

Instagram users shared their thoughts on the DIY project in the comments section.
