A closer look at new casino sites UK

In this part of the best new UK online casinos guide, I will look at the ten highest-rated new casinos and offer my in-depth thoughts on my experience with each of them, analysing their game selection, bonuses, user experience, and more.

1. Vegas Wins

  • Year established: 2023
  • Payment methods: MasterCard, Neteller, Paypal, Paysafe, Skrill, Trustly, Visa, Zimpler
  • Withdrawal time: Instant – 2 Days
  • Casino games: 500+
  • Live casino: Yes
  • VIP programme: Yes

Vegas Wins is one of the most stylish and enjoyable modern casinos. On my first visit to the site, I was instantly won over by its intuitive design and easy navigation. I would quickly discover there was plenty of substance to match that style.

I was impressed with the slot catalogue, which featured titles from the likes of Pragmatic Play, ELK Studios, NetEnt, and Red Tiger Gaming, to name just a few. Some of my favourite games of recent times, including all of the Big Bass Bonanza titles, the Cygnus series, and several jackpot titles like Divine Fortune Megaways were all available.

11

If you want to play other games, the live casino section will suffice. However, I was not as impressed with this as other sections of the site, with the selection being very limited in comparison.

I deposited at the casino using a debit card, but there were plenty of other options, including PayPal and Neteller, which will keep players happy.

The welcome bonus is worth up to £500, and it comes in multiple parts. You can play a 100% match on your first deposit of £100, 50% on your second up to £100, and 50% on your third up to £300. This is one of the most impressive casino welcome bonuses I have encountered, and would highly recommend claiming it.

2. Jackpot City

  • Year established: 1998 (2023 UK Launch)
  • Payment methods: Visa/Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, PayPal
  • Withdrawal time: Instant – 2 days
  • Casino games: 400+
  • Live casino: Yes
  • VIP programme: No

Jackpot City is an online casino brand that has been on the market since 1998 but has only recently been made available in the UK. In terms of what’s on offer, it’s pretty run-of-the-mill, my highlight would be the £100 welcome bonus with 100 free spins.

11

There are over 400 games on offer, and while there is some quality in the slot catalogue, I did find it quite limited. The casino only works with a small number of developers, and, as such, the selection feels a little repetitive. Still, these companies include Games Global and NetEnt, and these are two of the best in the industry, so there is still quality on offer.

I found the website design easy to navigate, with good filtering options and customer support. There is also a mobile app that I downloaded on my iPhone and found to offer a solid mobile experience.

3. 32Red Casino

  • Year established: 2023
  • Payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Bank Transfer, Trustly, PayPal, AstroPay, MuchBetter, Skrill, Paysafecard
  • Withdrawal time: Instant – 2 days.
  • Casino games: 500+
  • Live casino: Yes
  • VIP programme: No

32Red Casino lives up to its name, welcoming players with a stylish red and black website design that is very easy on the eyes. Players might recognise 32Red from its various famous ambassadors including Josh Warrington, Daniel Dubois, and Mark Allen.

One of the first things that struck me when using the site was the number of games on offer. The site works with some of the industry’s best developers, including Stakelogic, Pragmatic Play, and Hacksaw Gaming. The latter of these, in particular, is a favourite of mine and one I’m always happy to run into.

11

I also appreciated how well-organised the site is, with plenty of filtering options breaking the games down by mechanics and features. The live casino section also impressed me, with industry giants Evolution powering the selection. Once again, this was nicely organised, with each game having a section and poker and game shows also being categorised.

I was a little disappointed with the welcome bonus. Compared to other casinos, a £25 bonus, with just 50 free spins thrown on top, is not very generous. I also found the rest of the site’s promotion to be limited.

4. BetMGM

  • Year established: 2018 (2023 UK Launch)
  • Payment methods: Visa/Mastercard, Bank Transfer, PayPal
  • Withdrawal time: Instant – 2 days.
  • Casino games: 2,400+
  • Live casino: Yes
  • VIP programme: Yes

BetMGM is one of the biggest names in the casino world, so it was excellent to see it finally arrive in the UK in 2023. I had previously experienced BetMGM and was aware of the quality it could bring, and it instantly established itself as a major player in the UK.

The slot selection here is one of the best you will find at a new casino in the UK. You can enjoy titles from the likes of Relax Gaming, Pragmatic Play, Spribe, Hacksaw Gaming, and many more. I found an excellent mix of old and new, with classic titles like Rainbow Riches, Book of Dead, and The Dog House Megaways rubbing shoulders with modern hits like Pirots 2, Money Cart 3, and Temple Tumble 2: Dream Drop. Aviator, the crash game that has taken the industry by storm and a personal favourite of mine, is also available.

11

There are also some serious jackpots to be won on the site, with the MGM Millions jackpot promotion providing some huge potential wins.

The welcome bonus here is generous, with players able to claim up to £200 in bonuses and 100 free spins for Big Bass Splash.

There is no mobile app available yet. However, I suspect it won’t be long before one is made available. Until then, the mobile website is an excellent alternative.

5. Betgrouse

  • Year established: 2023
  • Payment methods: Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, Neteller, Skill, Paysafecard, Trustly, Payz
  • Withdrawal time: Instant – 2 days
  • Casino games: 1,500+
  • Live casino: No
  • VIP programme: No

Betgrouse was launched in the UK in 2023. I was instantly impressed with the number of games on offer at the casino, with over 1,500 slots from the likes of Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, and NetEnt to choose from. However, I was disappointed to find there was no dedicated live casino section on the main website.

11

The site still had plenty of other positives though, with a good range of jackpot titles available, as well as some good payment methods. The customer support team were quick to respond to my queries, and I found the sign-up process to be a really smooth experience.

6. No Bonus Casino

  • Year established: 2023
  • Payment methods: PayPal, Visa/Mastercard, Trustly, Skrill, Neteller
  • Withdrawal time: Instant – two days
  • Casino games: 1,500+
  • Live casino: Yes
  • VIP programme: No

Regarding No Bonus Casino, the name alone was enough to grab my attention. The idea of a site not offering traditional bonuses is certainly novel, especially in the modern environment.

The site’s unique selling point is that players get 10% back on the net losses each day instead of bonuses. It’s a cool concept, and there are zero wagering requirements attached to the cashback, which is a bonus. However, it may not be for everybody, which could be to the operator’s detriment in the long run. The operator does run occasional tournaments, which can provide players with the chance to win prizes.

11

From a gaming perspective, the site stands out. There are over 1,500 slots available from established developers like NetEnt, Games Global, Play’n Go, and more.

My biggest issue with the site was that, while there is a good selection of banking methods available, the minimum deposit is £25, which is high for UK casinos and may turn some players away.

7. PriveWIN

  • Year established: 2017 (2023 UK)
  • Payment methods: Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, PayviaPhone, Paysafecard, AstroPay, MuchBetter, ecoPayz, Neteller, Skrill, Neosurf
  • Withdrawal time:  Instant – 2 days.
  • Casino games: 3,000+
  • Live casino: Yes
  • VIP programme: Yes

PriveWIN has been in operation since 2017 and has established itself as a popular online casino.

The biggest selling point of the site, for me, is the huge selection of slots it has to offer, with players having over 3,000 to choose from. This is supported by an excellent live casino offering, with a dedicated live selection powered by Evolution and Playtech, two of the best in the industry.

11

My experience on the site was very convenient, with the website having a nice design and being easy to navigate. If you enjoy sports betting, there is also a great sportsbook available that you can easily switch to.

As well as a welcome bonus that allows players to claim up to £100 on their first deposit, there is also an excellent rewards program, where players can accumulate points to unlock more perks.

8. Hotstreak Slots

  • Year established: 2023
  • Payment methods: Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, Trustly
  • Withdrawal time: Instant – 2 days.
  • Casino games: 750+
  • Live casino: Yes
  • VIP programme: No

Hotstreak Slots, as its name might suggest, puts a real emphasis on slot action, with major titles being available from some of the industry’s most respected names. You can find titles from the likes of NetEnt, Stakelogic, Pragmatic Play, and Blueprint, among many others.

While there is a brilliant range of slots, I found the table and live casino offerings to be a little bit slimmer on the ground. However, there was still some quality on offer, it just felt more limited.

11

One area that did grab my attention was the instant-win titles. There was a good range of crash games to enjoy, including Big Bass Crash, Maverick X, and Spaceman, all of which are highly engaging mobile-friendly crash games.

A big selling point for the site is its range of bonuses, starting with the 10 no deposit free spins that are given to new customers. New customers can also claim a cashback bonus of up to £200. However, some of the wagering requirements for bonuses are high, with a 60x wagering requirement on the no-deposit bonus.

9. Pink Casino

  • Year established: 2012
  • Payment methods: Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay
  • Withdrawal time: Instant – 2 days
  • Casino games: 500+
  • Live casino: Yes
  • VIP programme: Yes

Pink Casino is one of the brightest and most welcoming UK online casinos. The site lives up to its name with a bright pink and purple colour scheme that lures you in. While it is the colours that get your attention, it is the impressive selection of slots and live casino games that keep it, with developers like Pragmatic Play, Evolution, and IGT working with the operator.

11

The generous bonus of 50 free spins and up to £150 matched deposit are attractive, but the promotions for existing customers were not as impressive. I found the site very easy to use, with the customer service team being particularly helpful when I had questions about promotions.

10. Your Favourite Casino

  • Year established: 2021
  • Payment methods: Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Pay by Mobile
  • Withdrawal time: Instant – 2 days
  • Casino games: 1,000+
  • Live casino: Yes
  • VIP programme: Yes

Your Favourite Casino hit the UK in 2021, and it’s fair to say that it did not go unnoticed with a name like that. The casino instantly grabbed my attention with its potentially huge welcome bonus. A spin of a reel can reward up to 500 spins for new customers. However, the 65x wagering requirement feels very steep, especially if you end up with a small number of spins.

11

Away from this, I found the rest of the bonuses on the site to be impressive, with the operator providing a good mix of casino-based bonuses and real-world prizes. You will also find a huge selection of games from some of the industry’s top providers to complement this.

How I evaluate new UK casinos: Must-have features

I have strict criteria that I use to review all new UK Casinos. The following are the most important things I consider when reviewing casinos and making my recommendations.

Game selection

One of the biggest factors I consider when determining the best online casinos in the UK is the game selection. Everyone wants to play the best games available, and when I review online casinos, I consider the quality and reputation of the developers they work with.

I also want to see a variety of games made available for players. Slots, table games, and live dealer options are all important. I also check for alternative gaming options like bingo, poker, and instant-win games.

Bonuses and promotions

If you want to take advantage of exciting online casino bonuses, you are in the right place. The online casinos I have chosen all feature a litany of bonuses and promotions. I make this a top priority when choosing which casinos to recommend to players.

All of the sites I have reviewed feature generous welcome bonuses, with many of them also offering excellent offers for existing customers. If you become a regular player on these sites, there are also some great VIP and loyalty programs you can take advantage of.

Banking methods

There is no point in recommending an online casino to players if they will have a problem getting money in and out of their accounts. The online casinos I have reviewed feature various banking options to accommodate different needs.

If you want to use an e-wallet instead of a debit card, these casinos have your back, with many supporting services like PayPal, Neteller, and Skrill.

If you want to deposit and withdraw using a credit card, you cannot do so. The UKGC has prohibited players from using credit cards for gambling purposes.

Customer support

If you find yourself in a spot of both when playing at an online casino, you will want to know you are in safe hands. When I review a new online casino in the UK, I place myself in a player’s shoes and contact the customer support team. I do this to ensure that the teams are efficient at helping and to find out if they are available as and when I need them.

I also check to see what contact methods are available, with live chat always the preferred option.

Mobile experience

Mobile gaming is a huge part of the modern online gambling experience, and I factor this in when I review new online casinos. I will test a casino on both a mobile phone and a tablet to ensure its mobile capabilities are up to standard, and I will also test multiple games to ensure they run perfectly.

If a casino app is available, I will download it and test it on Android and iOS to ensure it is up to standard.

Security and responsible gambling

Of course, safety is my number one priority when recommending new UK online casinos to players. All the casinos I recommend are fully licensed and regulated by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC)

The UKGC is one of the most respected regulators in the iGaming industry, with the UK having one of the world’s strictest and most regulated markets. This guarantees the safety of players in the UK.

As well as this, I check to see if respected third bodies like eCogra audit any of the casinos I review.

If you ever feel unsafe or uncertain about using a casino, I recommend exiting the website and looking elsewhere. There are many excellent UK casinos, so there is no point in sticking with one where you feel unsafe.

How to register at a new casino site

If you want to sign up for a new casino, follow these easy steps:

  5. Claim the welcome bonus. You might be required to enter a bonus code. If so, use the one I have provided.
  6. Make your first deposit.
  7. Choose your favourite slot or game and start playing.

How to download a new casino app

If you want to play at a new online casino in the UK on the go, downloading their mobile app is the best option. You can do that by following these steps.

  1. Read reviews and choose the casino app you would like to download.
  2. Click on the casino and follow the link to their website to find out more about their mobile app.
  3. Visit the Google Play/App Store, search for the casino name, and download the app
  4. Sign up for the casino if you are a new member. In some instances, this may be easier to complete online.
  5. Claim the welcome bonus. If there is a welcome bonus available, do not forget to claim it.
  6. Make your first deposit using one of the available methods.
  7. Start playing.

New vs established casinos: What to choose

If you are unsure whether to sign up with a new casino or an established one, you are not alone. Many players feel torn between the glossy, modern experience of a new casino and the familiarity of an experienced industry veteran.

The truth is, you do not need to limit yourself to just one. Both new and established casinos can offer plenty of excellent features. If you want newer games and a more mobile-friendly, forward-looking experience, a new casino may be for you, whereas if you want a bigger game selection and more promotions, then you should consider an established casino.

However, players are more than welcome to sign up with multiple casinos and take advantage of the benefits of both the old and the new.

Advantages of playing online at a new casino in the UK

If you choose to sign up and play at a new casino, you will find there are many advantages to doing so. Let’s look at some of the biggest advantages.

  • Modern websites and mobile play: New websites are more likely to boast more stylish and user-friendly interfaces designed to streamline the online gambling experience. They are also going to be more mobile-friendly and could offer a better mobile experience.
  • Generous welcome bonuses: If you were launching a new business, you would want to ensure you made the best first impression possible. New online casinos are more prone to big welcome bonuses as they try to make an impact on the market and attract customers.
  • Excellent banking options: In my experience, new online casinos in the UK tend to be more up-to-date with banking options. They are more mobile-friendly and will allow for faster deposits with functions like Apple Pay and Google Pay and will generally support more methods.

Disadvantages of playing online at a new UK casino

If you are going to sign up with a new casino, you should also consider some of the following potential disadvantages.

  • Fewer games: While some operators like to burst onto the scene with thousands of games, many start out small, working with a handful of well-established developers to provide a solid base for the future. As such, you will often find slightly smaller game lobbies at newer online casinos as they try to find a footing in the market.
  • Smaller promotions: While new casinos in the UK tend to have big welcome bonuses to attract customers, you will find that their promotions after this are a little more limited. This is down to the need to grow an audience before they start giving away mega amounts of money. However, on the plus side, the operators often get more creative with their bonuses, and you will regularly find tournaments and giveaway-style bonuses to compensate.

New casinos online and the latest slots

When playing at a new online casino in the UK, it is important to have a plethora of gaming options. If a casino wants to keep players coming back for more, it needs to be able to offer the latest and the best in online slot action.

The new casinos I have recommended in this guide all work with a range of developers. This includes industry veterans like Games Global, NetEnt, and Pragmatic Play and more adventurous developers like Nolimit City, ELK Studios, and Hacksaw Gaming.

This ensures players have a good selection of products to enjoy. If classic slots like Gonzo’s Quest Megaways, Immortal Romance, and Book of Dead are your thing, you can find them, while if you want more modern titles like Big Bass Bonanza or Money Train 4, they are also available.

While they might not offer a catalogue quite as diverse as an experienced operator, you can be sure new online casinos will stay ahead of the latest release as they market themselves as the exciting new kid on the block.

Future of new online casinos: Innovative trends and features

The iGaming and online casino landscape is constantly evolving, and several new and innovative features are likely to dominate the industry in the coming years. If you want to find out about the latest trends that I think will shape the industry, keep reading:

Virtual Reality: Virtual reality gambling is something I feel like I have been talking about for years. The emergence of VR in everything from Playstation games to mobile apps has changed the way people play, and the gambling industry is likely to start exploring this more over the next few years, and new UK casinos could be at the forefront of this.

Social Gaming: One thing I am extremely enthusiastic about is the rise of social gambling. Crash games like Spribe’s Aviator and Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Crash are excellent examples of this. In both cases, players can watch other people play while they sit out a round and can congratulate each other and share their opinions. This has led to communities being built around these games, making them extremely popular.

Given the popularity of online gaming, I can see social gaming filling that community-sized void in iGaming more and more in the next few years.

Increased Regulation: One thing players can expect in the UK in the next few years is increased regulation. The long-delayed publication of the Gambling Act White Paper in 2023 has seen the industry put under a microscope and will lead to new technology likely being introduced to help regulate the industry.

Identification software has already been approved in other countries, and the UK is likely to follow suit. For many, this will make them feel much safer when gambling online.
