‘Stormy Monday for Don’

Tuesday’s front pages feature, or at least mention, Monday’s opening of Donald Trump’s first criminal trial in Manhattan. It was a “Stormy Monday for Don,” the New York Daily News says, reporting Trump’s “scowls” and in-court snoozing while playing off the name of hush money recipient Stormy Daniels. The Philadelphia Daily News, under the headline “Hush Hour,” disagrees and says Day 1 of the trial “wasn’t very stormy.” The Houston Chronicle leads with “no jurors chosen,” while USA Today calls the trial’s opening “the real kickoff” to another unpredictable presidential campaign.
