KATIE McGlynn and boyfriend Ricky Rayment have dropped a huge hint they’re to get engaged – after dating for six months.

The Sun revealed in February that Katie, 30, and 33-year-old were secretly in a relationship.

Now the former Coronation Street star and Towie legend have gone public with the romance and it seems it’s full steam ahead for them.

Speaking to OK! Magazine as they posed for their first joint photoshoot, Ricky was asked if he was planning on popping the question.

He said: “I’m afraid that’s for me to know and for everyone else to find out. It’s only been six months, so we’ll see, but it’s looking positive.”

And actress Katie added: “We are very happy – the happiest I’ve been – and Ricky is romantic. I know he would pull out all the stops.”

Katie – who played Sinead Tinker in Corrie – was last in a relationship with Benji Roberts.

But The Sun revealed in 2019 that the couple had split.

During his time on The Only Way is Essex, Ricky was in a relationship with Jessica Wright. They dated for two years before calling time on the romance.

In the new interview Katie revealed why she and Jess initially wanted to keep things private.

She said: “I’ve always tried to keep my love life private where possible.

“I don’t like spilling my beans in front of everybody. I’m an actress. I go on TV and play other people, and that’s where I like to leave it.

“So I wanted to keep Ricky and I under wraps for a while until I knew it was serious before sharing it with other people.”
