Bobby Green spoiled Jim Miller’s plans to become the only fighter to compete and win at UFC 100, UFC 200 and UFC 300.

Displaying lightning quick hands and devastating power, Green brutalized and bloodied Miller over three rounds to win a fairly one-sided decision. Green nearly scored a finish in the third after knocking Miller to the canvas but despite his best efforts, he couldn’t quite put the 40-year-old veteran away.

When it was over, the scorecards read 30-27, 30-25 and 29-26 with Green getting the nod by unanimous decision.

“I’m a poor Black kid from the streets,” Green said following the win. “I got in this business just to get a house. Thank you UFC for blessing a poor, Black little kid like me. This s*** is just getting started.”

At the start of the fight, it was Miller who landed first with a hard punch early that definitely caught Green’s attention. In return, Green displayed his signature awkward style with his hands held low yet he still managed to establish a slick, fast jab that was catching Miller repeatedly in the opening round.

With time ticking away, Miller clubbed Green with another huge left that briefly but Green on wobbly legs as the New Jersey native chased him across the octagon. Miller continued launching bombs with Green firing right back at him until the horn sounded.

Green started upping his output, which opened a gash under Miller’s right eye as blood began pouring down his face. Miller was also bleeding from his nose and he was noticeably a step behind many of Green’s combinations.

Again and again, Green popped Miller in the chin with a stiff lead left and then followed with a hard right hand behind it. Green’s confidence really started to grow with Miller in retreat, struggling to keep up with his pace.

As the fight moved into the third round, Green showed no fear of reprisal as he just marched forward, launching that same left-right combination that continued to give Miller problems. As time was running out, Green connected with a brutal series of punches that dropped Miller to the canvas and he shifted into survival mode, grabbing a leg and just trying to stave off the attacks coming at him.

Miller scrambled enough to stay away from any finishing blows but Green battered him until the fight finally came to a close.

The win puts Green back on track following a knockout loss to Jalin Turner in his last outing and now he’s hoping a trip to England will be in his future against a rising star in his division.

“Paddy [Pimblett], you slimy, sugary little snake,” Green shouted. “How dare you say my name? I’m coming after you. July, I’m coming to your backyard, to your people to kick your ass.”
