Courtney Love is a musician, artist, and actress and the widow of the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

Love is the front woman of the band Hole, who released their best-selling album four days after Cobain’s dead body was found in April 1994.
Courtney was born Courtney Michelle Harrison in San Francisco and had a turbulent childhood, living with her mother and step-father in a hippy commune following her parents’ divorce.
In the early 70s, she briefly lived in New Zealand before returning to the States and living in Portland, Oregon.
