Phil Mickelson (E), Sepp Straka (-1), Tony Finau (-1)
Both Straka and Finau birdie the the second hole par 5.
Mickelson had a bogey on the first hole but follows suit with a birdie on the second hole to get back to level par.
Nothing worse than dropping shots on that first hole, it will boost his confidence having pulled the shot back on the next hole.
Erik van Rooyen (-3), Jake Knapp (-2)
van Rooyen continues his impressive form with a birdie on the ninth.
It takes him onto three under par for his round.
He seems to be rubbing off on Knapp who follows suit to move onto two under par at the halfway stage in their round.
Danny Willett (-2), Austin Eckroat (+3), Stephan Jaeger (E)
What a putt from Danny Willett on the seventh hole.
Off the green in the rough, he reads the contours perfectly.
He rolls the ball up towards the bunker, over the brow and down onto the green, straight into the hole.
That is the best putt we have seen so far in this year’s Masters.
Sergio Garcia (E), Chris Kirk (E), Ryan Fox (-2)
Fox has made a bright start to the round with two birdies in as many holes.
While his playing partners are both even for the round so far.
The brightest part of Sergio Garcia’s round so far is his questionable fashion sense.
